Killing Médecins: The Assault on Gaza’s Healers
In March 2025, the Israeli Army carried out a massacre on a medic convoy in Gaza, killing at least 15 aid workers. Among the victims were members of the Red Crescent, civil defense personnel, and a UN staffer. In an attempt to conceal the atrocity, the bodies were hastily buried, and even the medic symbol-clad vehicles were crushed and buried with them, some of the bodies mutilated in the process.
This was not an isolated act. It is part of a broader, systematic campaign of violence against Gaza’s healthcare system—crippling medical services and obstructing life-saving aid.
This chapter documents these assaults. Through reports and witness accounts, it reveals the deliberate targeting of those whose mission was to save lives.
